Reflections of the South |
Ante-bellum Louisiana, a time of majestic plantation homes, serene paddle wheelers floating down the Mississippi, and Mint-Julep on the verandah. A time when men were enchanted by fragile young ladies, known as "Southern Belles". The Brianne Doll has brown hair and hazel eyes. She is dressed in a cream satin and lace gown designed by Evelyn Gonzales. This doll stands 18 inches in height and is set on a hand-crafted wooden pedestal designed by Brian Bernard. JoAnn's unique doll body design allows Brianne to be positioned in various ways by bending her arms at the elbow joints. This feature adds to the lifelike quality of the piece. Accompanying the character doll is a booklet and display card designed by JoAnn to include; the number of the piece, the inspirational sketch, a short bio and a story about the character. All clay pieces are limited editions of 500 and are numbered and signed by JoAnn. A numbered and signed Certificate of Authenticity is also provided with each character doll.
